Who we are

Sorted Chef is a gluten-free hospitality consultancy based in Dorset, UK. For anything about your data, email hello@sortedchef.co.uk.

What we collect

Enquiry form: your name, email address, venue and town (optional), venue type, the type of help you want and your message.

Free guide form: your first name, email address, business name (optional) and whether you ticked the box to hear from us, with the time you ticked it.

We don’t collect payment details and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a conversation, send you the guide you asked for and, only if you opted in, send occasional practical tips and offers. The legal basis is your request (taking steps at your request before any contract) and, for marketing, your consent.

Where it’s kept

Form submissions are stored in the secure database that runs this website, and email notifications are sent through the website’s email service. Replies are handled through our business email inbox. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or working relationship, and for marketing until you unsubscribe. Ask us any time and we’ll delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how it’s used, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email us and we’ll sort it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
