Promotion & content

We sort the food.

Then we spread the word.

Getting your gluten-free offering right is only half the job. Making sure people know about it is the other half.

We put your restaurant in front of the gluten-free community — social media, local Facebook groups, features, video and food photography.

Let’s get your restaurant noticed

The bigger picture

You’re not losing one customer.

You could be losing the entire table.

When your restaurant can’t confidently accommodate one gluten-free guest, their whole group may choose to eat somewhere else.

More than gluten-free. More customers.

When someone with coeliac disease finds a restaurant they trust, they don’t just eat there. They come back, bring friends and family, and tell people.

That’s an opportunity your business shouldn’t be missing.

Why invest in becoming gluten-free ready?

  • 01Turn first visits into repeat business.Confidence in your food and prep gives people a reason to come back.
  • 02Become the restaurant people recommend.Find somewhere you can eat with confidence and you tell everyone. Word travels fast.
  • 03Open your doors to an underserved market.Plenty of diners skip you right now because they can’t be sure they can eat there.

Make your kitchen work harder for your business.

I’ll work with you and your team to find the opportunities in the kitchen and menu you already have.

No unnecessary overhauls. Just practical changes built around your restaurant.

Our approach

30 years in kitchens.
20 years living coeliac.

I know the pressure of a busy service and the realities of running a kitchen. I also know what it’s like to be the guest who can’t risk getting it wrong.

Seeing it from both sides of the pass shapes everything I do. Menus, training, layouts and procedures that work in the real world — not just on paper.

Real kitchen experience. First-hand understanding. Practical solutions that work.

How it was prepped

It started with a diagnosis.

It became a business.

The idea behind Sorted, Chef came shortly after I was diagnosed with coeliac disease.

I owned a pub at the time, and suddenly had to learn everything about gluten-free food, preparation and kitchen safety – fast.

Rather than add a couple of token options, I rethought the menu. Before long, much of it was gluten-free – and something interesting happened. We built a fantastic following and saw how much opportunity there was for a business willing to get it right.

That experience planted a seed.

After relocating, I took it much further. I moved into management with some of the biggest names in fast food, hotels and coffee shops, learning what it takes to keep standards consistent across busy kitchens and large teams.

I also trained large kitchen teams in hotels in Bulgaria and Morocco, focused on gluten-free knowledge, food preparation and kitchen controls.

I wanted to see how the big operators handled gluten-free: ingredients, preparation, cross-contamination controls, staff training and, most of all, the customer experience.

I saw what worked, where businesses fell short, and how the right knowledge and systems turn gluten-free from a headache into a genuine commercial opportunity.

Eventually, the pieces came together. Sorted, Chef was born.

Today it isn’t about putting a gluten-free option on the menu. It’s about getting the whole experience right – for the kitchen, the business and the customer.

I’ve spent years learning how to do that. Now, I’m here to help you do it too.

How we work

Less talk.

Better kitchens.

Every kitchen is different. Cookie-cutter advice doesn’t cut it.

Menu review, team training or a full rethink of how your kitchen runs — we get to the heart of the problem and help you fix it.

  • 01Practical advice.
  • 02Hands-on experience.
  • 03Solutions that work when service gets busy.

From a couple of hours’ consultancy to a full kitchen transformation, it’s built around your business — not a template.

Before & after

Small changes.

Bigger opportunities.

Getting gluten-free right rarely means rebuilding your kitchen, buying in hundreds of specialist ingredients or rewriting your menu. Often, a few smart changes can make a remarkable difference.

fryer setup

A small change in layout can make a big difference.

A dedicated gluten-free fryer, positioned and managed appropriately, can open up more menu possibilities while helping reduce cross-contact risks.

It’s not always about more kit. It’s about making better use of what you’ve got.

02

Sort the
preparation area

Give gluten-free food its own space.

A designated preparation area, dedicated utensils and clearly defined working procedures can help your team prepare gluten-free dishes more confidently and consistently.

Good organisation makes life easier for everyone in the kitchen.

Sort storage &
organisation

Know exactly what’s going into your food.

Clearly separated ingredients, labelled containers and organised storage help prevent mix-ups and make gluten-free preparation easier to manage.

A few simple organisational changes can transform everyday kitchen practices.

Sort the
menu

Your gluten-free menu shouldn’t be an afterthought.

We look at your existing dishes, ingredients and suppliers to adapt recipes, add new dishes and build a menu that works for the whole table.

Food people choose — not food they settle for.

You don’t always need a bigger budget.
You need a better plan.

From a couple of simple ingredient swaps to a complete kitchen reorganisation, Sorted Chef works with your existing setup and builds practical solutions around your business.

We’ll help you find the changes that make the biggest difference.
